Sunryz – Trance with a Story

As a teenager, he spent his last pocket money on mixtapes by Mind-X, DJ Energy & co – fascinated by music that never seemed to end. In 1999, he spun his first vinyl set. Soon after, he played his first gig – and Sunryz

was born.

 

What started as bedroom DJ passion quickly turned into a rising career. Gigs across Switzerland, his own label Visitor Records – everything was falling into place. Until life hit pause. Two comebacks later, Sunryz is stronger than ever behind the decks. The first return came in 2017, sparked by a deep connection with DJ White. The second after a diagnosis that could have ended everything: Stage 4 brain cancer. Incurable. Three months to live.

 

But the storm refused to break. In DJ Spaceman, he found the perfect partner for a powerful comeback. Since 2023, they’ve not just been a creative duo – they’ve become a statement: Music heals. Music tells. Music lives.

With releases like Under Control, Voice of the Universe and Echoes of Eternity, Sunryz doesn’t just drop tracks – he shares emotions, experiences, and a story that hits deep. This is trance that stays.
