For more than 25 years, Patrick Mathez has stood for high-energy trance sets. His career began in 1994 in youth centers, taking to the decks for the first time at just 14 years old. Under the name DJ Future, he quickly established himself within the Swiss club scene and hosted his own label nights.

 

Between 1998 and 2005, he completed over 200 bookings, including international shows in Spain, Cyprus, and England. He performed multiple times at the Zurich Street Parade and hosted the sold-out mega-event Terminal B, attracting more than 3,500 guests and featuring acts such as DJ Tatana, Energy, and Nonsdrome.

 

In 2005, he paused his career for family and professional reasons—but his passion for trance never faded. Inspired by international events like Transmission in Prague, he returned in 2025 with a new name, a fresh sound, and a fully professional approach. Today, Patrick Mathez represents modern Uplifting and Melodic Trance, backed by over two decades of stage experience.

 

Alongside his comeback, he founded the event series Sanctuary of Trance, bringing national and international acts to Swiss stages. He is also active in the studio, working on original productions and remixes that are already gaining international attention.
