Nostrangel – The New Era of Progressive Trance

 

Nostrangel is the new artistic identity of DJ and producer DJ Nostradamus — a name that embodies a fresh vision of Progressive Trance. As a long-standing figure of the Swiss label Nostrasound Music, founded in 1996, Nostrangel has continuously evolved his sound, merging emotion, energy, and innovation.

 

A new chapter began in 2016, marked by the release of his first hits “Alliance” and “Working Alone”, featuring the singer Victoryia, followed by “Big City Lights” in 2017 — tracks that gained wide exposure across European radio and introduced his distinctive melodic style to a broader audience.

In 2019, Nostrangel took another major step forward by collaborating with Belarusian artist Beatsole on the tracks “Sunsets” and “Alice”, released under Armin van Buuren’s label, Armada Music. The track “Sunsets” was even featured on the official compilation A State of Trance 2019, solidifying his presence in the global trance scene. The same year saw the release of “Cosmophobia”, a dynamic collaboration with Russian producer Ruslan Radriges, released on Suanda Music.

 

Today, Nostrangel’s sound represents a refined fusion of Progressive Trance, Techno, and ethnic-inspired atmospheres. His latest projects — including “Phonk Fury”, “Last Dance”, “No Flower and the Moon”, and “Arabian Fire” — showcase his artistic evolution and his drive to push the boundaries of electronic music.
