DJ Morgrey, whose real name is Carl Weber, found his way into the vibrant rave scene in the late ’90s. From the very first moment, he was captivated—by the music, the energy, and above all, the sense of family within the scene. Inspired by this atmosphere, he soon bought his first turntables and began DJing himself.

 

His ambition was quickly ignited: he devoted every spare minute to mixing, honing his technique, and developing his own style. His first gig followed in 2002—and it took place on a very special stage: the legendary Watergate event on a boat during the Street Parade. It marked the beginning of further gigs at well-known venues such as the D-Light and various clubs in the region.

 

But life brought changes. For family reasons, Carl scaled back his activities, sold his equipment, and devoted himself entirely to his role as a father. Music, however, always remained a part of him—quietly in his heart and never forgotten.

 

In 2017, he made his comeback: with new equipment, renewed passion, and a fresh motivation—to introduce his son to the world of DJing. What began as a father-son project became the relaunch of his musical career.

 

In 2025, DJ Morgrey moved to the Bernese Oberland, where he quickly established himself in the local scene and made new connections. Gigs at Color, Budeli, and Cardasia followed—and mark just the beginning of a new chapter.

 

DJ Morgrey is back—with more experience, deeper passion, and a clear vision: The journey is far from over. In the future, we can look forward to many more performances—in the region, throughout Switzerland, and beyond.
