Claude Meyrat, better known as DJ Diablo, is a well-established figure in the Swiss electronic music scene. His DJ career began in 1992, when he first immersed himself in the world of techno and progressive sounds. Just a year later, in 1993, his dedication grew under the Evolution label, and he began focusing intensively on trance music, which would soon become his signature style.
In 1995, DJ Diablo had his breakthrough as a newcomer at the legendary Odyssey 3 event, held at the iconic Guggelmann complex in Roggwil—a defining moment in his early career. By 1996, he became a regular behind the decks at the Basis Club Thun, located in the infamous Selve complex, where he continued to shape his progressive sound. That same year, he showcased his talent at the renowned Cubik event.
One of his career highlights followed in 1997 with a performance at the Rave & Jubilee, further cementing his reputation in the Swiss rave and club scene.
From 2000 onward, DJ Diablo held a residency at BlueDome in the Selve complex in Thun, where he captivated crowds with his deep and melodic trance sets. In 2001, he also became a resident at Highway, another club within the same complex, where trance continued to be his primary focus.
Following a break from the scene to focus on other priorities, DJ Diablo made a powerful return in 2020. Since then, he has been a resident DJ at the private club Budeli, and has performed at various venues such as Cardasia, Colors, Nexus, and in several live-stream events—including at Studio 44 for The Source Of Emotions project.
With decades of experience, a deep passion for electronic music, and an unmistakable style, DJ Diablo continues to leave his mark—connecting the energy of the past with the pulse of today.
