DJ AEROW
SWISS TRANCE & TECHNO PIONEER

Hardtrance | Trance | Techno | New Trance

DJ Aerow—a name that stands for passion, experience, and the unmistakable energy of Swiss rave culture.

DJ Aerow has been deeply connected to the electronic music scene since the late 1980s. As one of the first-generation DJs, he has not only witnessed the development of the Swiss rave and trance movement but has also actively shaped it over the decades.

His musical journey began in the late 1980s behind the turntables. In the early ’90s, he experienced the emerging rave movement firsthand and, at the same time, developed his own unmistakable style behind the decks. What began back then as a fascination with electronic sounds evolved into a decades-long passion for pulsating beats, hypnotic melodies, and electrifying dance floors.

As a *co-founder of the “We Love The New Trance” event series*, DJ Aerow made his mark on the scene. Another significant milestone was his performance at the very first *AVA Night*, where he helped shape the characteristic New Trance sound.

His musical career has taken him to legendary venues and events on the Swiss scene. Among his highlights are performances at the *Stairs Club*, several sets at the **Kaserne**, and his performances at *Rave Réunion*.

Musically, DJ Aerow moves between *hard trance, trance, techno, and new trance*. His sound combines powerful basslines, driving rhythms, and euphoric melodies into high-energy sets. In doing so, he blends the unmistakable vibe of the golden age of raves with a contemporary musical sensibility.

With his knack for reading the crowd, his many years of experience, and his unwavering enthusiasm for electronic music, DJ Aerow creates an atmosphere that fuses the past and the present on the dance floor.
